This project entailed a comprehensive remodel and expansion of a 60-year-old sorority house at the University of Arkansas. During the construction, the only original architectural element retained was the front façade facing Maple Avenue. The building, now 33,000 SF, was significantly enlarged with an additional 14,000 SF added. The three-story structure features a two-story atrium, a commercial kitchen, a cafeteria, study rooms, and numerous bedrooms on the 2nd and 3rd floors. Moreover, a new, expanded basement was developed to house a large chapter room, capable of seating 180 members at one time, creating a dynamic space for events and meetings.
