This multi-tenant 12,500 square foot office building started as an existing warehouse in the heart of downtown Bentonville. The original interior building was dark and after extensive evaluations of the existing structure were completed, it was determined that three large clerestory openings could be located near the center of the building to allow natural light into the darkest areas. These later became meeting rooms, seating areas and marquee display locations for the future tenants and highlighted the most desirable locations within the new plan.
The exterior utilized the existing CMU walls but with new glazing to match the traditional warehouse look. Additional materials such as wood siding, steel ribbed panels, and a mural by a local artist created a hybrid aesthetic that combined the historical elements of the original structure with a modern twist.
